An Easy Military Service Project for Preschoolers

Teaching our children to serve and think of the needs of others is something my husband and I try to instill in our children.  Finding a project that allows the children to serve that lines up with their ability can sometimes be a challenge.  So, when I heard that Xerox created and easy & FREE way to send postcards to our military service members,  through their  Let’s Say Thanks project, I was extremely excited.

Here are the steps that will take you & your preschooler less than 3 minutes to complete.

  • Go to www.LetsSayThanks.com
  • Pick out a postcard of  your choice
  • Add your child’s name (first name is sufficient) & home town
  • Click Send

Really, it’s that easy.  The card is then printed and sent to a military member serving our country.  What a great opportunity to teach our kids about how the military serves our country.  Also, what a great way to touch the heart of someone who is serving who may need a little encouragement for the day!
